OWWF is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the projects and programs of Old World Wisconsin, a Historic Site owned and operated by the Wisconsin Historical Society. Founded in 1984, OWWF remains the local, independent option for funding the museum. OWWF is a private 501(c)(3) charity, not affiliated with the State of Wisconsin. Over the years, Old World Wisconsin Foundation has provided over $6 million in direct museum support - underwriting projects in every department of Old World.
