Our Mission: Old World Wisconsin Foundation enhances visitor experiences and preserves the historical integrity of Old World Wisconsin.

Our Purpose: Old World Wisconsin Foundation's purpose is to raise money and increase awareness of Old World Wisconsin.

"Friends of Old World Wisconsin" began in 1984, as a group of volunteers dedicated to raising money and helping the museum in whatever ways we could. We grew into a full-fledged, dynamic fundraising and membership organization, changing our name to Old World Wisconsin Foundation in 2005. We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit charitable organization, and since our inception we have raised over $6.2 million to support the preservation, education and program needs of Old World Wisconsin.

We continue to promote and support the museum in many different ways, raising money through membership dues, an annual campaign, special events, major gifts, grants, planned giving, in-kind donations and capital fundraising. We also actively seek volunteers to help with our fundraising events and in many other ways.

If you'd like to get involved in our organization, please contact the Foundation office at 262-594-2922.
