   Old World Wisconsin offers many opportunities for people interested in volunteering their time to help the museum. Come join us next season to have a wonderful experience and connect with history. Training is provided! We have volunteer positions that will suit a variety of interests including: •Working With People - Teaching hands-on activities to others; greeting visitors upon arrival; meeting school children tours; helping visitors interact safely with farm animals; providing golf cart rides to visitors with mobility challenges; asking guests about their experience at the end of the day. •Projects & Maintenance: Repair, care and inventory of OWW artifacts; carpentry projects; care of flower gardens, historic gardens, and general landscape care in the Visitor's Center. •Promotion Opportunities: Deliver OWW promotional material to libraries, tourist centers and businesses; work on marketing projects in the office. •Tangible Benefits of being a volunteer include: free family admission to WHS historic sites (after 40 hours worked/year); 10% discount at the restaurant; 10% discount in the museum store; $10 annual OWF Friends membership (regular price $35); spring appreciation item; fall recognition party.
